| Decora is the Japanese word shortened from the word "Decoration", which in all its entirety what Decora fashion is all about. In other words Decoras love to accessorize! Occasionally called 'FRUiTS' style because of its frequent inclusion in issues of the Japanese street fashion magazine 'FRUiTS', decora is a fashion that keeps a person 'young' at heart. Decoras not just a Japanese fashion though, its seen around the world. There's even some fashions like the common "scene" that snatched some of its style from Decoras. There are no actual rules to decora fashion but there are common guidelines that make up the basis of decora fashion. First is to be a cute and sweet as a child, basically be as cute as possible. Second, stand out with your colorful accesories. No decora would be a decora if they didn't get some head turns. Third, LAYERS. one of the staples of a decora fashion diet. leg warmers upon socks upon socks, cute skirts and dresses maybe with a another tank or T thrown on top. Some might think your wearing an entire wardrobe at once  . Finally tieing it all together with a theme. The theme could be a color, a certain design or a look (maybe a cartoon character, animal or a pretty princess). You dont want your outfit too look too random and out of control.Theres not really any lines telling how much a decora will, would or should wear. Theres so many different ways to dress decora I will go into further explanations of some of the different kinds later. Remember ORIGINALITY is KEY! |
